For those who don't know me - I am Alicia. I am a personal trainer and fitness junkie and will be sharing my thoughts and moments throughout this year as I go on a mission to compete again as a Sportsmodel.
2011 will be an exciting year. I have decided to compete in May and then again later on in the year.
Staying focused and on track will be the biggest thing this year. I competed in 2009 and decided that in 2010 I would take a break - as I had a big year of moving and changing jobs etc. So bring on 2011!!! :)
Competing as a Sportsmodel will be hard work for me this year as I don't have my family and close friends around to support me - being away from home- living and working at a mining accommodation village can be hard- due to isolation. However -there are a few guys out here who are really into training and their support means a lot!
So this morning it has started - Ive had a month off all supps and haven't been training much. Today started with my fat burners - Oxy Elite Pros (you will soon come to realise I am a fat burner junkie- I <3 caffeine) and my pre-breakfast cardio - 40min powerwalk - gosh how I have missed this - best start to the day!! I feel great already!! My cardio crew will be starting with me tomorrow - looking forward to that - cardio goes quicker and can be more fun when you train in a group!! Weights soon (my fav part of the morning)!! Ive given myself 5 weeks to get lean for when I go on holiday - then I will have a small break before I start preping for comp in May. Below is the training split I plan to follow for the next 5 weeks.
Training Split:
Mon - Cardio/Arms
Tues - Cardio/Chest and Abs
Wed - Cardio/Legs
Thurs - Cardio/Shoulders
Fri - Cardio/Back
Sat - HIIT Cardio
Sun - Rest/Optional Cardio
